FAQs
What is the wedding dress code?
Cocktail attire. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the temperatures.
What should I wear to the welcome party?
Our invite says festive ski attire! While we won’t be hitting the slopes at Deer Valley, you can still have fun with an après-ski twist for a festive mountain afternoon. Western-inspired touches are also welcome to embrace the Park City vibe!
Are kids invited to the wedding?
The welcome party and wedding day events are for adults only. There are great local childcare options available.
Deer Valley closed?
Unfortunately, Deer Valley will be closing for the season on March 29 due to an unusually warm winter, including record-low snowfall, temperatures in the 70s, and an extended stretch without a freeze. As a result, we won’t be able to host the planned “ski with the bride and groom” (the groom is taking this news particularly hard).
That said, we’re firm believers that you don’t need to ski to enjoy après-ski! We’re still so excited to celebrate with you at our mountainside welcome party on Friday, April 10th - just with a little less snow and just as much fun.
If you’re hoping to fit in some spring skiing, Alta and Snowbird are currently still open, though conditions can change quickly this time of year.
